My Comments:
It is surprising the postman looks a little like my husband in his suit. I do not know when was this picture taken.
He was a driver and an internal postal worker for 20 years and has passed away last year at the age of 56 years old, the day after Christmas.
There was rumors from him and his colleagues since the last strike about cuts. Since he has died, lots of his friends are telling me about the work related stress has caused many other deaths who work for Canada Post. Canada Posts saves money giving money for work that example 3 employees used to operate, now it is 1 employee. We are in a society that should know more. People are not robots they are humans, You know even robots breakdown and needs to do be fixed which takes time and patience. I believe seeing my postman at my door, seeing his smile when delivering. It is a service that is very well respected by the people.

I hope and pray that this will not drop like it is mentioned on the news. There must be a better solution. I prefer mail than the online system. We know that not every elderly or other recipients are computer literate. These people need their independence to choose which ever type of mailing service is convenient, we pay stamps to get these advantages.

We today we are all in the world of the new technology of communication, but this, one day may fail to
be giving us the privacy protection we all want on all our mail delivery, while everything enclosed in envelope is still in the best secure protection because of the government protection against stealing any private sealed personalized mail.
