All'indomani della Pentecoste l'apostolo Pietro raduna già un numeroso gruppo di fedeli attorno ai discepoli... E' la messe abbondante che germoglia dal sangue di Cristo e queste sono le pecore che riconoscono il loro pastore. Gesù nel suo insegnamento si è servito, per spiegare grandi ed eccelse verità, di esempi comprensibili a tutti, come le parabole, ed ha portato similitudini dove Lui si impersona in figure identificabili per gran parte della sua gente. La pastorizia era molto diffusa in Palestina. Vaste torme di pecore pascolavano sui dossi delle colline e durante la notte venivano rinchiuse in recinti circondati da un basso muricciolo di pietre a secco. Un guardiano solo custodiva molte greggi riunite insieme, fino a che, al mattino venivano i pastori e ciascuno chiamava la proprie pecore e le conduceva a pascolare con sé. Capitava in certe notti che il ladro desse la scalata al muretto di cinta; o anche che il lupo affamato balzasse nel chiuso a divorare qualche pecora. Allora il guardiano, se poteva, gridava e difendeva il gregge; ma se c'era da rischiare la propria pelle, fuggiva al sicuro. E le pecore? Peggio per loro e per il padrone!

I'll never find another you is composed by Tom Springfield and was recorded at Abbey Road studioes in London november 4 1964.
"I'll never find another you" was to become their first number one hit in the UK 1965.

Lifted from "Pink Floyd The Wall" film, this video is actually comprised of two songs: "The Happiest Days Of Our Lives" and "Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2" This video became the official video of "Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2" after the release of the film in 1982.
This single is by far Pink Floyd's greatest ever mainstream success, instantly attaining classic status, and is perhaps their most famous piece of work.
ABINTW Pt. 2 even became the protest song of a group of South African students during the apartheid regime, the song was subsequently banned in South Africa.
The song itself is a protest against the rigidity of British schools, and in particular, the boarding school system Waters would have been part of as a young boy.
The poem read out by the schoolteacher is a direct reference to "Money"
The schoolteacher in this video was portrayed by the late, great, Scottish actor Alex McAvoy who passed away in June 2005.

Festa della Madonna della Difesa a Montréal,(Québec,Canada). Numerosi i fedeli di diverse origini etniche, più qualche casacalendese, la generazione degli anni cinquanta e sessanta andando scomparendo. Vedrete squarci della Santa Messa e l'inizio della processione che percorre la strada Dante e qualche altra strada nei dintorni della Chiesa. Era pure presente un noto turista, Mons.Tamilia, Parroco della Chiesa Madre di Casacalenda. Conservate questo video come ricordo, poiché tra pochi anni questa festa, voluta dai Molisani e dai Casacalendesi, sin dagli anni 1910 e che fu al suo apogeo neglia anni 50,60 e 70, poiché tra pochi anni non sarà che un vago ricordo. Il solo organismo che avrebbe dovuto e potuto promuovere questa festa regligiosa presso i giovani di origine casascalendese é l'Associazione dei Casacalendesi di Montréal, ma che ha fallito al suo impegno.

Fiddler on the Roof is the 1971 American film adaptation of the Broadway musical of the same name. It was directed by Norman Jewison. The film won three Academy Awards, including one for arranger-conductor John Williams. It was nominated for several more, including Best Picture, Best Actor for Chaim Topol as Tevye, and Best Supporting Actor for Leonard Frey, who played Motel the Tailor (both had originally acted in the musical; Topol as Tevye in the London production and Frey in a minor part as Mendel, the rabbi's son). The decision to cast Topol, instead of Zero Mostel, as Tevye was a somewhat controversial one, as the role had originated with Mostel and he had made it famous.

THE BACKSTORY
Before you watch, let me first tell you a story regarding the song in this video. Songwriter/Singer Christene Jackman shared that recently her mom handed her an old, worn little bible. It turned out to be the gift her father had given her mother the day of Christene's birth. Opening the tattered front page, she discovered scripture references scribbled by the hand of her late father outlining the Way of Salvation, as well as one specific psalm. That psalm listed was: Psalm 27, one that had always been among her favorites throughout her life. Jackman has now recorded this moving musical interpretation of Psalm 27 in keeping with the Psalm that was spoken over her life at birth by her father and her Heavenly Abba. "Coincidence" is not a kosher word :)
